History

 

W.C. Industrial Training Centre was established in the year 1997 by its founder Chairman Late Sh. B. B. Katyal under W.C. Charitable Trust to be the centre of phenomenal activities in the field of imparting scholarly education and embellishing the lives of may students. WCITI was started at that point of time when there were no other technical institutes in Derabassi or nearby area imparting technical knowledge to the society at large. So WCITI was started with its commitment to provide quality training and work ethics from the industry experienced staff in a convenient location ,flexible career selection for its students thereby enabling them to create a niche for themselves in the society. WCITI was started with COPA trade and Instrument Mechanic Trade in the year 1997.Thereafter Mechanic Radio and TV trade, Electronics Mechanic Trade were introduced in the year 1998.In the Year 2001 , Electrician trade was started followed by the start of Welder trade and Fitter Trade in the year 2003. The trade of Refrigeration and A.C.Mechanic was started in 2006 with the introduction of Wireman Trade in the same year.
