Introduction

This Institute is situated at Khem karan road. Patti. The foundation stone of the Institution was laid in Jan. 1965.and the training was started in the July1965. The Institute has 15.01 acres campus area which includes Administrative block AVTS block Hostel block auditorium workshops canteensports grounds Institute having very beautiful ultra modern newly constructed and renovated buildings. All the theory rooms and workshops are with natural light and air orientation. There is a very neat and clean toilet blocks available in the institute. Good administrative block with all latest facilities to cater good service to trainees. A large play ground for sports and recreational purpose. A big multipurpose hall for exhibitions seminars debates and cultural programs. Two green lush grass parks decorated with ornamental trees give soothing effect to everyone s soul and mind. All class rooms are well furnished with latest electrical wiring and training aids. All labs and workshops are equipped with new and latest machinery.

Mission

The mission of the Institution is to provide good training to trainees with latest techniques and make them self-employed. Our institution is also determined to produce skilled workers in above said trades to meet the requirements of industry for manpower.

Government Industrial Training Institute Patti was established in 1965 by Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training Punjab to promote the various Technical courses like motor Mechanic Turner Electrician Welder,Machinist carpenter Tractor Mechanic Fitter Consumer Electronics etc in Distt. TarnTaran at Certificate Level. All the trades running in this institute are affiliated to NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) Ministry of Labor Govt. of India New Delhi. In the year 2008 this institute is upgraded into C. O.E in Agriculture Sector. This institute is one of the oldest institute in its own Class and established in the core of historical city Patti. The Laborious and staff of this Institute has debunk my notation regarding Government organizations.
