Introduction

This Institute is purely government institute for both men and women. This Institute is situated 25km away from the holy city Amritsar and falls in the border belt. This institute is surrounded by tall lash green trees and the environment is very clean. All the workshops and theory rooms are with natural light and air Orientation. A large play ground for sports and other cultural activities.

History

This institute has running from 1965 as a RATC (Rural Artision Training Center under industry department. In 1978 Rural Artision Training Center merged into Govt. Industrial Training institute by the department of Technical Education and Industrial Training Punjab to promote the various technical and non-technical courses like Electrician, Welder, Cutting & Sewing, Machinist, Electronics Mechanic, Turner and Mechanic Agriculture Machinery etc.
